2015-16 -- Cross Country: Led the Mustangs at back-to-back meets to close out the fall, taking fourth place at the Big West Conference Championships in Riverside on Oct. 31 (with an 8K time of 24:17.04) and then 56th place at the NCAA West Regional in Seattle on Nov. 13 (running the 10K in 32:13.8) ... made his season debut at the Pre-Nationals Invitational at Louisville on Oct. 17, finishing 135th at 24:32.0.
2014-15 -- Track: Won the third individual conference title of his career by winning the 5,000 meters at the Big West Championships on Fox Sports Prime Ticket at UC Riverside on May 16, with a time of 14:42.45 ... again advanced to the NCAA West Regional level in the 3,000m steeplechase, qualifying with a performance of 8:48.91 at the Stanford Invitational on Cobb Track on April 3 (beating 15 others in Section 3 in wire-to-wire fashion while also moving into the No. 8 spot in school history for the event); was also an all-conference honoree in the steeplechase, taking third place at the Big West finals on May 15 (at 9:03.57) ... junior season also saw him establish a new PR for the 1,500: 3:46.13, at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific on April 17 (finishing 21st out of 210 competitors in the race). Cross Country: Ran to a third-place finish at the WCC Preview on Sept. 13, with a time of 24:33.3 ... went on to finish 24th at the Big West Conference Championships in Riverside on Nov. 1, at 24:56.1, before placing 121st at the NCAA West Regional hosted by Stanford on Nov. 14, in 31:46.2.
2013-14 -- Track: Won his second consecutive Big West Conference title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, in a personal-best 8:55.97 on May 16, earning a trip to the NCAA West Regionals in Arkansas ... also won the event at the Blue-Green Rivalry Dual Meet at home against UC Santa Barbara on May 3, in 9:10.99 ... additionally at the conference finals, nearly won the 5,000, finishing second at 14:36.53 (just 28 hundredths back of the conference Track Athlete of the Year, teammate Chris Frias) ... his banner season also included a 1,500 effort of 3:51.32 on March 15 during the dual meet at Fresno State, a 115-67 Mustang victory. Cross Country: Opened the year by finishing eighth at the Lagoon Open hosted by UCSB, with a time of 25:39 ... was 16th at the Fresno State Invitational, at 20:32 ... closed the fall with a 34th-place finish at the Big West Championships, in 27:20 on Fairbanks Memorial Course in San Luis Obispo.
2012-13 -- Track: Won the Big West title in the steeplechase, at 9:01.33 ... also had a 1,500m time of 3:54.05 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival. Cross Country: Redshirted.
Prep -- As a senior at Roosevelt High School in Eastvale, finished fifth at the CIF State Championships in the 1,600 meters ... his PRs included 4:12.91 in the 1,600 and 9:08.28 in the 3,200 ... was named the school’s Athlete of the Year ... helped lead the squad to league titles all four seasons ... graduated with honors, and belonged to Class Council and Spirit Club ... high school mascot was also the Mustangs.
