2016 -- Was two spots back of an all-conference finish in the shot put at the Big West Championships on May 13, taking fifth place with a career-best mark of 55 feet, 1 inch at Long Beach State ... his season-best discus mark, 158’ 3”, also came at the Big West Championships, finishing 12th on May 14 ... won the discus at the Bulldog Invitational in Clovis on April 23, at 157’ 9”, and earned another victory at the Big West Double Dual in Riverside on March 12, throwing to 151 feet even ... altogether as a junior, also added five second-place finishes, four of which came in the shot put (including 54’ 7.5” at the Blue-Green Rivalry dual meet vs. UC Santa Barbara on April 30) ... made the Big West All-Academic Team for the second year in a row.

2015 -- Posted PRs in both the shot put (at a second-place 52 feet, 10 inches during the dual against UCSB at Westmont College on May 2) and discus (164’ 3” at the Fresno State Twilight competition in Clovis on March 24 — also good for second place, while helping the Mustangs defeat San Jose State and CSU Bakersfield) ... also was the discus runner-up at the 33rd annual ShareSLO Invitational on March 28, with a mark of 157’ 10” ... earned All-Academic honors from the Big West Conference.

2014 -- During his true freshman year with the Mustangs, had a season-best shot put mark of 48 feet at the Bulldog Invitational on April 26, as well as a throw of 150’ 11” in the discus on April 5 at the Cal-Nevada Championships in La Jolla ... also helped Cal Poly rout Fresno State 115-67 at the road dual meet on March 15, when he added a shot put performance of 45’ 10.75” and a discus mark of 141’ 1” ... came back at 45’ 2.5” and 142’ 2” at the home invite on March 29, helping the squad sweep all three visiting teams.

Prep -- As a senior at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, established PRs of 50 feet, 1 inch in the shot and 157’ 3” in the discus on the way to earning All-EBAL First Team honors ... also played football as an offensive lineman for the Dons; was chosen for Contra Costa Times All-East Bay accolades and was selected to play for Alameda in the Holiday Classic All-Star Game.

Personal -- Born on Jan. 13, 1995 in Redwood City ... son of Mike and Virginia ... has a sister, Grace, a volleyball player at Binghamton from 2010-13 ... majors in business (with a concentration in finance).
