2018-19 -- Cross Country: While redshirting, competed at two meets on an unattached-scoring basis ... took 36th place at the 5k UC Santa Barbara Lagoon Open on Sept. 15, in 19 minutes, 29.9 seconds ... added a 25:04.7 at the 6k Stanford Invitational Sept. 29, good for 140th overall ... academically, also earned Big West Conference Commissioner’s Honors.
Prep -- Posted a 3,200-meter PR of 11:01.50 for Monarch High School of Louisville, Colo. at the 2017 Arcadia Invitational, taking 15th place at the nationally-attended meet ... came in 20th place at the Colorado 5A State Cross Country Championships as a Coyote senior, clocking a 5k time of 18:59.4 at altitude ... was fourth at the 2017 Centaurus Invitational, recording a career-best 18:52.0 ... also was a National Honor Society student, an Academic All-State honoree and a Student Achievement Merit Award recipient, while participating in Student Council along with swimming.
Personal -- Parents are each University of Colorado alumni, while her brother Ben is also an NCAA student-athlete, competing for the Gonzaga cross country & track programs ... also visited Michigan State, Santa Clara and Minnesota; chose Cal Poly because of the “unbelievable academics, community, trails, coaches and opportunity to make life awesome” ... majors in Business.
