2015-16 -- Track: Redshirted. Cross Country: In his first fall as a Mustang, competed at two meets (unattached), finishing the UC Santa Barbara-hosted Lagoon Open 8K in 26:28.22 on Sept. 5 before coming in as the runner-up at the Cal Poly Invitational at Fairbanks Memorial Course in San Luis Obispo on Oct. 17, with a time of 26:44.3.
Prep -- At Buena High School in Ventura, won the county title in the 1,600 meters as a senior, in 4:17.84 ... his PR for the 3,200m came at the 2015 Southern Section Division 2 prelims: 9:15.73 ... also was an indoor specialist, as he took second place in the 2-mile competition at the CIF State Championships his last season, at 9:26.24 (the country’s 37th-fastest performance overall) ... in cross country, won the Stanford Invitational 5K race in 2014, at 15:29 ... was an honors student ... chose Cal Poly for its "academics, running team and great city."
