2022 -- Competed in six meets in second year at Cal Poly … recorded personal bests in the shot put (48 feet, 0.75 inches), discus (155 feet, 2 inches) and hammer throw (141 feet, 7 inches) … finished second in discus at Mustang Invitational.
2021 -- Did not compete in any meets as a true freshman at Cal Poly.
Prep -- While attending Tracy High School, began the spring of 2020 with a new PR in the discus at the Kimball dual, reaching a mark of 159 feet, 10 inches for the win … additionally for the Bulldogs, had a throw of 159’ 0” at the 2019 CIF State Championship, taking 11th place as a junior ... posted a career-best shot put mark of 57’ 1” at the Throws Lab Virtual Meet ... in 2019, also had an SP effort of 49’ 1” (good for second place) at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Meet in Davis ... meanwhile, was an honors student every year ... additionally, was a Golden State Seal Merit Diploma recipient also belonging to the Agricultural Science Academy along with Future Farmers of America club ... also was an International Baccalaureate student while earning eight student-athlete awards altogether.
Personal -- Majoring in mechanical engineering ... chose Cal Poly “because I wanted to major in engineering and Cal Poly is known as one of the best schools in the nation for their engineering program,” before adding, “I also got to visit the school on my official visit and I absolutely loved the weather and the campus life” ... aspires to become an engineer for an organization such as either NASA or SpaceX.
