High School—Eric attended Heritage High School in Brentwood, CA. He participated in cross country, basketball, as well as track and field. He holds the school record in 1600m, 4x800m, 4x1600 and 3200m.
Personal—Eric is majoring in kinesiology. His biggest influence on his life as an athlete is his grandfather because he ran when he was younger and inspired him to continue the tradition.
