2010-11: Track: Competed in four meets … posting a career-best in the 800 of 1:52.59 at the CP/Fresno St. dual meet on 3/12/11… At the BWC championships prelims he was clocked in 1:56.73… At the Cal opener on 3/5/11 ran a 1:52.85 in the 800…. Also ran a leg in the 4x400 relay at the dual with Fresno State and finished with a time of 3:22.99…
2009-10:Track: Competed in seven meets as a freshman in the 800m advancing to the BWC meet where he ran a time of 1:53.11 in the prelims a season-best.. broke 2:00 for other times….
High School—Doug attended Oak Park High School in Oak Park, CA. In high school, Doug played basketball and was varsity cross country and track all four years.
Personal—Doug is majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Doug has two brothers, Grant and his brother Todd ran for UCSB. Doug chose Cal Poly because it is a great school both academically and athletically.
