2017 -- Recorded the top 400m hurdles time of his freshman season — 53.68 seconds — at the Big West Championships (at Cal State Fullerton) on May 12, qualifying fifth in the prelims ... also at the conference finals, ran a leg for the fifth-place 4x400m relay squad (3:14.55), helping the Mustangs finish a close second in the team totals ... began his first spring at Cal Poly by winning the 400m hurdles at the Cal Opener in Berkeley on March 4 (with a performance of 54.28 seconds), and followed with another victory (at 54.66) at CSF’s Ben Brown Invite on March 11, and another at the Blue-Green Rivalry Meet vs. UC Santa Barbara on April 29 (54.14) as the Mustangs earned the 110-88 dual win over the Gauchos ... also took 16th at the Mt. SAC Relays in Torrance on April 14 (at 54.20) and 14th at the Stanford Invitational on March 31 (54.42) ... participated in six 4x400m relays for the season, also including an eighth-place 3:16.33 at Stanford.
Prep -- As a senior at Templeton High School, won the San Luis Obispo County title in the 300-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 38.05 seconds, before going on to also win the Southern Section Division 4 crown in 38.50 (finishing 12th throughout the entire section) ... also in 2016, recorded a career-best 110m hurdles time of 15.02 seconds (another school record) at the Golden West Invitational ... won the 400 meters at the Russell Cup via a PR of 49.54 seconds ... also anchored the Eagles’ Los Padres League championship-winning 4x400m relay squad to a school-record performance of 3:23.06 while claiming the 2016 divisional title.
