High School--Chris attended Buena High School in Ventura, CA. He participated in basketball, cross country and track and field. In track he was recognized by having an award named after him. He had PR's of 1:57, 4:17, and 9:13 in the 800M, 1600M, and 3200M runs.
Personal--Chris is majoring in Kinesiology and plans on pursuing a career in physical therapy. His biggest influence on his running career was his high school track coach, Wendy Dowler, who inspired him to set his goals high and to believe in himself.
