Prep -- As a senior at Claremont High School, finished in 15th place at the CIF State Cross Country Championships for Division 2, running the 5K in 15:31 ... also had his top 3-mile performance as a senior: 14:41.42 (at the Woodbridge Classic) ... in track season, his PRs included 1:59.77 in the 800 meters and 4:23.97 for the 1,600 ... altogether, was a four-time All-San Gabriel Valley honoree while his team won three league championships.
