Finished with a 13-8 singles record, playing almost exclusively at No. 1 (11-7), and was 5-1 in Big West matches ... he earned a win over #89 Lucca Liu of UC Santa Barbara and was 1-0 against nationally ranked opponents ... in doubles, he was 6-11 overall, playing at No. 1 for most of the season with Raz Haviv early and Leo Matthysen later ... he was named Big West Freshman of the Year, All-Big West First Team Singles, and All-Big West Second Team Doubles (with Matthysen), becoming the sixth Mustang in conference history and first since 2021 to earn Freshman of the Year ... he also earned Cal Poly's Male Newcomer of the Year honor.

Son to Japie and Nadene Lubbe … has one brother (Japie) and one sister (Eunice) … brother played college tennis … majoring in RPTA … chose Cal Poly because “the coaches are amazing and one of the coaches is from my home country as well” … aspires to become a pro tennis player after graduating … biggest influences are his mom and dad as “they have given me so much and are supportive.”
