2014 -- Started 11 games and played in the other game at right tackle as a junior and earned All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention praise ... part of an offensive line that helped the Mustang offense to a No. 1 national ranking in rushing, No. 4 in first downs, No. 6 in third-down conversions, No. 11 in total offense, No. 16 in fourth-down conversions and No. 17 in time of possession ... named team's most valuable offensive lineman award.
2013 -- Started 10 games and played in the other two at right tackle ... played on an offensive line that helped Cal Poly finish No. 1 in the Football Championship Subdivision in rushing offense and No. 2 in sacks allowed ... started first 10 games before giving way to senior Michael Freeman for final two contests ... played in 2014 Spring Game.
2012 -- Played in all 12 games on the offensive line as a redshirt freshman, primarily backing up Karl Winkelman at right tackle ... part of an offensive line which helped Cal Poly’s offense finish first in the Football Championship Subdivision in passing efficiency, third in rushing offense, seventh in scoring offense, eighth in fewest sacks allowed (10 in 12 games) and No. 13 in total offense ... played in 2013 Spring Game.
2011 -- Redshirt.
High School -- Walker was a tight end and defensive lineman under head coach Vic Cooper at Atascadero High School ... on offense caught 15 passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns as a senior, helping the Greyhounds to a 9-3 overall record, a second-place tie in the Pac 7 League and a quarterfinal-round berth in the CIF-Southern Section Western Division playoffs ... earned first-team All-Pac 7 League and All-San Luis Obispo County honors ... played in Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Game ... was the long snapper on special teams and was an offensive tackle as a junior ... also played basketball and baseball at Atascadero ... in basketball, averaged 7.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a senior, sinking 65 percent of his field goal attempts en route to all-county and all-league honors as a power forward ... a starting pitcher and first baseman, Walker hit .326 in baseball in 2011 ... made Superintendent’s Honor Roll ... member of California Scholarship Federation, National Honors Society and Leadership Council ... named scholar-athlete for football, basketball and baseball teams ... also was recruited by South Dakota School of Mines, but chose Cal Poly for “its major, location and football.”
