2012 -- Redshirt ... one of four candidates vying for the starting nod at quarterback at Cal Poly this fall ... earned team’s offensive scout team player of the year honors for 2012 season ... in 2013 Spring Game completed three of four passes for 43 yards and one touchdown, an 18-yarder to Sam Holguin ... also rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries.

High School -- Trosin made the most of his one season as starting quarterback under head coach Kris Richardson at Folsom High School, shattering school, section and state records by completing 360 of 527 passes (68 percent) for 5,185 yards and 49 touchdowns with 17 interceptions en route to Max Preps State Division II Player of the Year honors ... finished No. 3 in the nation in passer ratings and No. 1 in California ... four of his games exceeded the 400-yard mark in passing, including a Northern California record 601-yard performance in a 49-46 victory against Deer Valley when he completed 34 of 49 passes ... produced seven other 300-yard passing games. ... also surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in rushing, accumulating 1,179 yards on 215 carries and scoring 20 touchdowns ... totals include five games over the 100-yard mark, including a season-best 167 yards against Jesuit ... his state record 6,364 yards in total offense was No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 in the state, and his 69 total touchdowns are the second most in state history, behind only fellow Bulldog Dano Graves’ 85 in 2010 ...
