2017 -- As a sophomore in first season at Cal Poly, earned 41 total tackles, including 29 solo stops ... season-high seven tackles at Southern Utah and recorded five tackles in four other contests ... assisted on a sack and made a solo tackle for lost yardage, both against Northern Arizona ... intercepted passes against Southern Utah and Portland State ... theft against Vikings was with 48 seconds left, clinching Cal Poly's lone win of season ... six pass breakups, including two against Sacramento State ... recovered a Weber State fumble ... played in all 11 games with four starts ... one tackle in 2018 Spring Game.
Community College -- Reza earned 34 total tackles (27 solo) and intercepted five passes, returning one for a touchdown, as a freshman under head coach Kevin Emerson at Orange Coast College in 2016 ... Reza was a redshirt in 2015 ... has three years of athletic eligibility remaining and, last fall, earned second-team all-league honors and was named team defensive backs MVP ... his five interceptions were second most in the league and Reza also set a school record for most kicks blocked in a season with five.
High School -- A 2015 graduate of Edison High School in Huntington Beach, where as a senior under Dave White, Reza made 43 tackles (31 solo), intercepted one pass and deflected seven others ... Edison was 7-4 overall in 2014, finished second in the Sunset League and earned a spot in the CIF-Southern Section West Valley Division playoffs ... earned first-team All-Sunset League honors as a cornerback and was his team's defensive back of the year ... his older brother Matt was a defensive back at Cal Poly in 2012 and 2013 ... Sharky chose to continue his education at Cal Poly because "I wanted to play quality, competitive football at the next level and my brother played there, which influenced me as well."
