After starting every game the last two seasons at left tackle, will move to right guard on the offensive line this fall ... named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Great West Conference second team.
2010 -- Started all 11 games for the second straight year at left tackle ... moves to other side of offensive line at right guard this fall ... earned second-team All-Great West Conference honors for second year in a row ... helped Cal Poly to No. 4 national ranking in rushing offense, No. 38 in scoring offense and No. 44 in total offense ... Mustangs also were No. 16 in both time of possession and sacks allowed.
2009 -- Started all 11 games at left tackle ... contributed to the Mustangs’ national rankings of No. 19 in rushing offense, No. 23 in time of possession, No. 36 in sacks allowed and No. 56 in scoring offense ... played in 2010 Spring Game ... earned second-team All-Great West Conference honors.
2008 -- Played in the opener at San Diego State, then after recovering from a knee injury on the final play of that game, returned to play in the final four games of his redshirt freshman season ... was the snapper on game-winning field goal against San Diego State, the play in which he injured his knee ... was a long snapper on special teams and also a reserve at left tackle.
2007 -- Grayshirt ... a walk-on who secured his spot on the roster by virtue of his performance in spring drills.
High School – A four-year letter winner in football as an offensive lineman and defensive end under head coach Tom Crawford at Bishop Garcia Diego High School in Santa Barbara ... also was a tight end and, on special teams, the long snapper and backup punter ... as a senior notched 13 sacks, 18 other tackles for lost yardage, 92 solo tackles, nine pass breakups and five forced fumbles, leading Cardinals to 9-4 overall mark, 3-1 for a first-place tie in the Frontier League and berth in semifinal round of CIF-Southern Section Mid-Valley Division playoffs ... first-team All-CIF-Southern Section Mid-Valley Division and also was named MVP of the Frontier League, Santa Barbara County and his team ... junior-year team (2005) was 6-5 overall and 3-3 in the Tri-Valley League, earning playoff spot ... earned first-team All-Tri-Valley League and All-Santa Barbara County honors and was most valuable lineman of his team as a junior after recording 11 sacks, 56 solo tackles, 104 assisted tackles, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles ... team captain in both 2005 and 2006 ... all-league honorable mention as a sophomore ... also lettered in basketball and volleyball ... as a senior averaged 9.3 points and 8.6 rebounds a game in basketball en route to first-team all-league honors and was second-team all-league as a junior ... was first-team all-league as a middle blocker in volleyball and was co-captain and team MVP as a senior ... also was team MVP and first-team all-league as a junior and second-team all-league as a sophomore in volleyball ... member of Principal’s Honor Roll, Dean's Honor Roll and was a scholar-athlete with a cumulative 3.58 GPA ... also was an Ambassador and Campus Minister.
