After starting every game at left tackle on the offensive line in 2014, was expected to challenge for playing time at right defensive end in 2015, but injured Achilles tendon in the weight room during the summer and missed the entire 2015 season ... played all 12 games on the defensive front as a junior last fall and is listed No. 1 at defensive end on the preseason depth chart this fall.
2016 -- Accumulated four tackles, including one for lost yardage, as a reserve defensive lineman ,,, two solo stops and assisted on two other tackles ... no tackles in 217 Spring Game.
2015 -- Missed entire season due to Achilles heel injury ... did not play in 2016 Spring Game as he continued his rehabilitation.
2014 -- Despite his size (6-0, 248), started all 12 games at left tackle on the offensive line ... with only one senior, that group helped the Mustang offense to a No. 1 national ranking in rushing, No. 4 in first downs, No. 6 in third-down conversions, No. 11 in total offense, No. 16 in fourth-down conversions and No. 17 in time of possession ... on the defensive line at an end position, recorded seven tackles (five solo) in 2015 Spring Game prior to injuring Achilles tendon in June.
2013 -- Redshirt ... notched one tackle in 2014 Spring Game.
2012 -- Grayshirt ... attended Santa Ana College part time for one semester, but did not play football ... played in 2013 Spring Game.
High School -- Williams, one of four Mustangs in recent years who played football at Servite (Bijon Samoodi, Chris Nicholls, Karlton Dennis), played on both the offensive and defensive lines under head coach Troy Thomas ... helped Servite to a combined 24-3 record in two varsity seasons, including a pair of Trinity League titles and berths in the CIF-Southern Section Pac 5 Division playoffs ... Servite captured the CIF-Southern Section Pac 5 title in 2010 and lost to De La Salle in the state playoffs, finishing 14-1, while the 2011 squad reached the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Pac 5 playoffs en route to a 10-2 mark ... Williams was a first-team All-Trinity League offensive lineman in 2011 and earned second-team all-league honors in 2010 ... also lettered in track and field (shot put).
