2016 -- Played in 10 games as a sophomore cornerback, including one start against UC Davis ... in that game, led the Mustangs with 13 total tackles, including 10 solo stops ... six more tackles the next week against Sacramento State ... one tackle for lost yardage against Sacramento State ... earned a quarterback hurry versus UC Davis and notched quarterback hurries against UC Davis and Sacramento State ... one tackle in 2017 Spring Game.

2015 -- Played in four games as a backup cornerback in redshirt freshman season ... recorded no tackles ... listed No. 2 behind Kevin Griffin at right cornerback on preseason depth chart.

2014 -- Redshirt ... made one tackle in 2015 Spring Game.

High School -- A wide receiver and cornerback as a senior under head coach Marvin Sanders at Loyola High School in Los Angeles, Sheffie caught eight passes for 232 yards and five touchdowns last fall while on defense earned 31 tackles (17 solo) and 11 pass breakups ... also returned an interception for a touchdown and recovered one fumble ... Loyola was 4-6 in 2013 selected to play in the D1Bound All-Star Game in December as well as the PrepStar/CaliClassic Senior Bowl ... also competed in track and field with best marks of 10.67 in the 100 (at the CIF-Southern Section Masters Meet) and 22.79 in the 200. He anchored the school’s 4-by-100 relay team which finished second in the 2013 state finals with a time of 40.83 seconds ... in football as a junior, Sheffie caught eight passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns ... also played rugby for championship Santa Monica Rugby Club ... recruited by Wyoming, Fordham, Penn, Yale and Cornell, Sheffie chose Cal Poly because “I wanted an environment that would challenge me academically while allowing me to play at the highest possible division in football. The coaching staff was genuine and supportive, the location is close to home, and the possibility of playing on a championship team makes it all the better” ... has volunteered at The Jenesse Center for Battered and Abused Women.
