2010 -- Started eight games as a junior, missing three other contests due to injury ... helped Cal Poly to No. 4 national ranking in rushing offense, No. 38 in scoring offense and No. 44 in total offense ... Mustangs also were No. 16 in both time of possession and sacks allowed ... missed 2011 spring drills as he continued his recovery from a leg injury which forced him to miss the 2010 season finale against UC Davis.
2009 -- Started all 11 games on the offensive line at left guard ... contributed to the Mustangs’ national rankings of No. 19 in rushing offense, No. 23 in time of possession, No. 36 in sacks allowed and No. 56 in scoring offense.
2008 -- Started the final four games of his freshman season at left guard after center Jason Cox was injured, forcing Stephen Field to move from left guard to center ... also played in three other games ... played on offensive line that gave up just nine sacks in 11 games and helped offense to No. 1 in the nation in scoring offense and total offense, No. 3 in rushing offense and No. 17 in time of possession.
2007 -- Redshirt.
High School -- McClure recorded 55 tackles, including 15 solo stops, as a senior at Riordan High under head coach Mike Langridge ... also notched 5.5 sacks for 31 lost yards, seven quarterback hurries, three fumble recoveries (returning one for a touchdown) and one blocked kick ... also played on the offensive line and helped the Crusaders snap a three-year losing streak in the West Catholic Athletic League, finishing 4-6 overall and 2-4 in league ... was junior and senior class president and vice president of the Black Student Union ...named first-team All-West Catholic Athletic League and honorable mention All-Metro by the San Francisco Chronicle ... earned team’s Most Promising Defensive Player award ... also lettered twice in basketball.
