High School -- A 2022 graduate of Santa Ynez High School in Santa Barbara County ... under head coach Josh McClurg, Valencia averaged 52.7 yards on 55 kickoffs with 19 touchbacks, made 30 of 34 PAT kicks and was good on 11 of 13 field goal attempts with a long of 45 yards (against Ventura) ... made all four field goal attempts against Buena, a school record, and added three more versus Ventura ... his 11 made field goals were second in the state and shattered school record for a single season and tied the school's career mark as well ... earned second-team all-state honors from Cal-Hi Sports ... also earned first-team All-Mountain League and All-Area honors and was named to the all-state third team by Max Preps ...
