High School -- A 2018 graduate of Manteca High School ... under head coach and father Eric Reis, was a two-year varsity starter and helped Buffaloes to back-to-back CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Division III championships ... Manteca finished 12-3 overall, 5-2 for third place in Valley Oak League, won section title and earned a semifinal-round berth in the state 2-A Division playoffs ... in seven games, made 28 tackles (13 solo), including six tackles for lost yardage and one sack ... fumble recovery sealed win over Oakdale in section title game ... also started on the offensive line two-time All-Area selection, Max Preps All-NorCal choice in 2017 and first-team All-Valley Oak League honoree ... Manteca was 12-3 in 2016 en route to first section title ... also played volleyball, earning Valley Oak League honorable mention praise as a senior ... made school's Honor Roll and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club ... elected to play football at Cal Poly because "it's my dad's alma mater, location, education and the only school to give me a chance."
