2010 -- A second-team All-Great West Conference selection in his first season at Cal Poly ... recorded 23 tackles (10 solo), 2.5 tackles for lost yardage and 1.5 sacks ... most dramatic play of junior season came in Montana game in which he recorded a sack, knocked the ball loose from the quarterback and recovered the fumble with three minutes to play ... six quarterback hurries, three fumble recoveries and a pair of pass breakups for the season ... started all 11 games on the defensive line ... career-high six tackles against Humboldt State ... earned sack against Montana and a half-sack against Old Dominion.

Community College -- Played two seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College, recording 16 tackles for lost yardage and five sacks ... twice earned All-NorCal honors ... as a sophomore in 2009, notched 23 total tackles (10 solo), including eight for lost yardage and three sacks ... also had two pass breakups, three quarterback hurries, blocked a kick and returned one interception 40 yards ... High School -- A 2007 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School and played tight end and defensive end on the 2006 Cardinal football team which, under head coach Paul Cronin, went 13-2 overall, 6-1 for second place in the North Bay League, captured the CIF-North Coast Section Division II title with a 28-22 win over Hayward and fell 27-20 in overtime to Oaks Christian, quarterbacked by Jimmy Clausen, in the state Division III championship game at the Home Depot Center in Carson ... logged 79 tackles (50 solo) as a senior, including 15 against Rancho Cotate and 13 against Ukiah, and had seven sacks ... twice earned first-team All-North Bay League honors on defense ... also lettered in wrestling and baseball.
