High School -- As a center under head coach Joey Montoya at Placer High School in?Auburn, Christensen was named Foothill Valley League Most Valuable Lineman in 2019 and the team's offensive player of the year ... also was named to the All-Metro, All-NorCal and all-state teams ... helped lead the Hillmen to a 10-3 overall record, including a first-place finish in the Foothill Valley League, and a runner-up finish in the CIF-Sac-Joaquin?Section Division III playoffs for the second straight year ... in addition to his duties as an offensive lineman, Christensen earned 22 tackles on defense, including five for lost yardage and four sacks ... three-year varsity starter and led Placer to league titles each season ... as a junior, Christensen earned first-team All-Foothill Valley League honors as an offensive lineman and also was an All-Metro honorable mention ... also played on the varsity team as a sophomore, earning All-Pioneer Valley League honors, as the Hillmen were CIF-sac-Joaquin Division 4 champions, NorCal champs and state runner-up ... also recruited by Oregon State, Nevada, UC?Davis and San Diego ... also competed as a thrower on the Placer track and field team and was a section qualifier in 2018 ... compiled 4.25 cumulative grade-point average ... member of Rotary Interact Club and was a California Boys State delegate.
