After two seasons as a backup wide receiver, moved to slotback in 2010 and is switching back to wide receiver for his senior season, challenging Brandon Michalkiewicz at the X position.
2010 -- Played in 10 games with one start in South Dakota contest as a junior slotback ... just four carries for a net of minus-six yards ... also returned one kickoff 32 yards in McNeese State game ... named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Great West Conference second team ... also competed in track and field and ran anchor leg on Cal Poly’s second-place 4-by-100 relay team which finished second in Big West Conference finals (40.66) ... season-best times of 10.71 in 100 (10.59 is personal best, run in 2009), 21.99 in 200 (personal best) and 21-3 1/4 in long jump (personal best).
2009 -- Played in all 11 games with four starts as a sophomore wide receiver ... caught six passes for 74 yards and one score, a 41-yarder from Tony Smith in the season opener against Sacramento State ... caught two passes in that game as well as against Dixie State ... netted 18 yards on his only carry, that coming in the Dixie State contest ... returned one kickoff 22 yards against South Dakota State ... in track, posted best times of 10.67 in 100 and anchored 4-by-100 relay team to 41.38-second clocking for third-place finish in Big West Championships ... in 2010 Spring Game rushed four times for 39 yards and caught four passes for 22 yards.
2008 -- Played in eight games as a backup wide receiver ... did not catch any passes as a redshirt freshman ... three tackles on special teams, including two solo stops in playoff game against Weber State ... 2009 track season was slowed by spring football injury ... prior to injury posted personal bests of 10.59 in 100 and 21.69 in 200.
2007 – Redshirt ... competed on Mustang track and field team in 2008 with personal bests of 10.61 in 100 and 21.71 in 200 ... placed fifth in 100 at Big West Conference Championships and also ran on fourth-place 4-by-100 relay team.
High School -- Returned three kicks for touchdowns in his last two seasons at Rodriguez High School — a 71-yard punt return as a junior and a 63-yard punt return and 92-yard kickoff return as a senior ... also rushed for 318 yards on 45 carries (7.1 average) and five touchdowns with 20 tackles on defense as a junior ... in senior season rushed for 280 yards on 41 carries and one score while notching 42 tackles and a pair of interceptions on defense ... also averaged 15.6 yards per punt return and 26.7 yards per kickoff return ... led Mustangs to Solano County Athletic Conference titles in 2004 and 2006 ... earned first-team All-SCAC and All-City honors as a cornerback ... also was a sprinter on the track and field team with personal bests of 11.01w in the 100 meters and 22.02 in the 200 meters ... visited Sacramento State before choosing Cal Poly.
