Expected to start at left tackle on the offensive line at Cal Poly for the second straight season this fall ... named to 2013 All-Big Sky Conference Preseason Team ... backed up Scott Winnewisser at left tackle in 2011 ... played at right tackle in 2010 while Art Munoz continued his recovery from fractured leg suffered in second game of 2009 season at Ohio.
2012 -- Started all 12 games of junior season en route to All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention praise ... part of an offensive line which helped Cal Poly’s offense finish first in the Football Championship Subdivision in passing efficiency, third in rushing offense, seventh in scoring offense, eighth in fewest sacks allowed (10 in 12 games) and No. 13 in total offense ... did not play in 2013 Spring Game, recovering from an injury.
2011 -- Played in 10 games with four starts as a redshirt sophomore on the offensive front ... part of a Mustang offensive line which helped the team finish No. 6 in the nation in rushing offense, No. 27 in scoring offense and No. 4 in total offense ... the offensive front allowed just 20 sacks in 11 games.
2010 -- Started in first two games of sophomore season before an injury sidelined him the rest of the year ... granted medical redshirt.
2009 -- Played in all 11 games as a true freshman at right tackle, starting the final nine after Munoz fractured his leg in the Ohio contest ... contributed to the Mustangs’ national rankings of No. 19 in rushing offense, No. 23 in time of possession, No. 36 in sacks allowed and No. 56 in scoring offense ... played in 2010 Spring Game.
High School -- Anchored an offensive line that led Central Catholic under head coach Roger Canepa to an 11-2 overall record, 5-0 mark for first place in the Western Athletic Conference and a runner-up finish in the CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Division V playoffs ... also was a defensive end, recording 66 total tackles (30 solo), including 10 against Hilmar ... also had two sacks, five pass breakups and one fumble recovery for the season ... postseason honors include Western Athletic Conference lineman of the year, All-CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section first team and ESPN/CalHiSports.com all-state small schools first team ... also competed on the Central Catholic wrestling team under former Cal Poly wrestler Steve Strange and qualified for the state finals at Bakersfield, earning honorable mention at 215 pounds ... also played on freshman baseball team ... visited Sacramento State before choosing Cal Poly.
