2015 -- Played in just two of Cal Poly's 11 games as a junior, missing the other nine due to injury ... fractured his arm in home opener against Northern Iowa ... one carry for five yards against Montana and one catch for seven yards against Northern Iowa ... did not play in 2016 Spring Game.
2014 -- Played in all 12 games as a sophomore, primarily as the team's punter ... averaged 34.9 yards on 37 punts with a long of 59 yards (Northern Arizona) ... three touchbacks, nine fair catches, three punts of 50 or more yards and nine inside the 20-yard line ... kicked off twice in South Dakota State game following injury to Stephen Pyle and averaged 48.0 yards ... late in season was used at slot back ... caught pair of passes for 26 yards in UC Davis contest ... did not play in 2015 Spring Game.
2013 -- Member of team but did not play in any games as he continued his rehabilitation from hip surgery ... did not play in 2014 Spring Game.
2012 -- Redshirt ... did not play in 2013 Spring Game due to a torn labrum in his hip which required surgery.
High School -- Stokes had a brilliant junior season under head coach Rich Schimke at Paso Robles High School in 2010, finishing with 61 catches for 1,001 yards and 17 touchdowns, 35 carries for 246 yards and seven scores and 22 kickoff returns for 708 yards, averaging 32.2 yards per return en route to San Luis Obispo County Player of the Year honors as selected by the San Luis Obispo County Tribune ... also was named most valuable player of the Pac 7 League as well as for the Bearcats ... returned kickoffs 80, 85, 87 and 95 yards for touchdowns in 2010 and finished with 28 total touchdowns ... twice caught eight passes in a game and also caught five passes for 165 yards and four touchdowns against San Luis Obispo ... the 2010 Bearcats finished 10-3 overall, going undefeated in the Pac 7 for their first outright league championship since 2005, and advanced to the CIF-Southern Section Western Division semifinals, losing to eventual champion Serra ... other honors for Stokes include All-CIF-Southern Section Western Division Team and Cal-Hi Sports All-State Underclass Second Team ... played numerous positions as a senior on a 3-7 Bearcat team, rushing 28 times for 122 yards, catching 26 passes for 342 yards and three scores (including nine catches against St. Joseph), punting 18 times for a 30.3 average and returning four punts for a 7.0 average and 10 kickoffs for a 21.8 average ... also completed 24 of 42 passes for 350 yards and three touchdowns in three games as a quarterback and was named to the All-San Luis Obispo County first team as a wide receiver and to the ESPN Rise first team as a multi-purpose player ... a three-year varsity letter winner ... caught 31 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore en route to team most valuable wide receiver, first-team All-Pac 7 League and second-team All-San Luis Obispo County honors ... played in 2012 Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star Classic at Atascadero High School ... also played baseball for the Bearcats, hitting .303 with four doubles, 11 RBI and 14 stolen bases as a junior in 2011 ... also lettered in basketball for two seasons ... a four-year Honor Roll member with a 3.8 grade-point average and took Advanced Placement classes in calculus, statistics, economics and government.
