Expected to back up Bijon Samoodi and Nico Molino at field cornerback in the defensive secondary this fall.

2010 -- Played in the Old Dominion game, but did not record any statistics ... played in 2011 Spring Game.

2009 -- Played in three games as a backup cornerback and did not record a tackle ... an excellent performance in 2010 Spring Game with six tackles (three solo) and an interception.

2008 -- Played in two games -- against South Dakota and We-ber State -- as a reserve defensive back but recorded no tackles.

2007 -- Redshirt ... competed on Mustang track and field team with best mark of 45-8 in triple jump.

High School – Earned first-team All-Valley League, first-team All-North County and second-team All-CIF-San Diego Section honors as a senior cornerback at Escondido High School, leading Cougars of head coach Paul Gomes to 8-3-1 overall record, 5-0-1 mark for first place in Valley League and a berth in the CIF-San Diego Section playoffs ... a team captain as a senior ... intercepted two passes and notched nine pass deflections in 2006 ... also led Cougars to Valley League title in 2005 with 7-4 overall mark ... also excels in track and field with best marks of 22.63 seconds in 200, 21-3 1/2 in long jump and 47-6 3/4 in triple jump.
