2021 -- Played in three games, including one start against Montana, as a redshirt junior ... completed 22 of 38 passes (58 percent) for 290 yards and one touchdown, a 61-yard strike to Michael Briscoe against South Dakota ... in start at Montana, completed 16 pf 30 passes for 183 yards with no touchdowns and one interception ... also rushed for 11 yards on six carries in his three games played, breaking off a 24-yard run in season finale against Northern Arizona.

2020 (Spring 2021) -- Played in one game at Eastern Washington ... completed one pass for 11 yards and rushed three times.

2019 -- Member of squad but did not play in any games as a redshirt freshman.

2018 -- Redshirt ... five carries in 2019 Spring Game but did not throw any passes.

2017 -- Medical redshirt.

High School -- Under head coach A.J. Gass at Garces Memorial High School in Bakersfield, Bruce helped the Rams to a 7-4 mark last fall, including a third-place finish in the Southwest Yosemite League and a berth in the CIF-Central Section Division II playoffs ... as a senior, Bruce completed 37 of 63 passes for 747 yards and 10 touchdowns in five games, missing the final six games due to a fractured fibula ... also rushed for 432 yards and six scores ... against San Joaquin Memorial, Bruce passed for 258 yards and rushed for 151 yards, accounting for 409 yards and scoring four touchdowns on his 18th birthday ... the team captain was named All-Area honorable mention by the Bakersfield Californian and earned All-Southwest Yosemite League honorable mention praise ... also twice was named Hometown Sports player of the week and made the Hometown Sports All-Star Team ... as a junior, Bruce passed for 390 yards with one touchdown, rushed for 442 yards and three scores and caught 16 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown ... was successful in turning four of four fake punts into first downs and earned All-Southwest Yosemite League and Garces Memorial utility player of the year honors ...
