High School -- Dzubnar, younger brother of Cal Poly linebacker Nick Dzubnar, recorded 55 tackles (25 solo) as a senior under head coach Bob Johnson at Mission Viejo High School ... among his tackles were 6.5 sacks, including four against Huntington Beach, and he also recovered one fumble against Cabrillo ... helped Mission Viejo to a 10-3 overall record, a South Coast League championship with a 4-0 mark and a berth in the semifinal round of the CIF-Southern Section Pac 5 Division playoffs ... earned second-team All-South Coast League honors ... also lettered in wrestling and track and field during his freshman and sophomore years.
