Second Year / Memphis 2022
A 2022 graduate of Memphis University with a bachelor's degree in sport and leisure management, Wes Yerty was named recruiting coordinator for the Cal Poly football program in May 2023.
Yerty was a two-sport athlete at Memphis, a wide receiver on the Tigers' football team and a jumper and javelin thrower on the track and field team. He earned All-American Athletic Conference academic awards from 2019-22 and assisted the football program with recruiting for two years
As a recruiting assistant at University of Memphis he helped the tigers reach their highest rated recruiting classes in program history two years in arrow. 58th and 48th in the conutry.
In his first year at Cal Poly, he helped the Mustangs achieve the third highest ranked recruiting class in the FCS. Signing 3 of the top 5 rated Mustangs in program history.
Wes Is married to Caroline Yerty and they have two Daughters Siena and Baylor
