Sebastian Ramirez is in his second season as a student assistant with the Cal Poly football program, responsible for analyzing player and team film cutups and assisting with relevant administrative duties.
Born and raised in San Jose, Calif., Ramirez is a graduate of Lynbrook High School, where he lettered in both soccer and football. In football, he played on special teams as a kicker and punter under head coach Jim Grassi as a senior, a year in which the Vikings posted a 7-3 record.
An avid Bay Area sports fan, Ramirez enjoys spending time with friends. He plans to graduate in June 2018 in business administration with a concentration in information systems/finance. He hopes to pursue a career in busines analytics.
Ramirez is the son of Graciela Ramirez and he has no siblings.
