In his first season as an offensive administrative assistant atCal Poly, Noce will assist with the wide receivers, fieldoperations and video.
A graduate of San Lorenzo Valley High School in Santa CruzCounty, Noce led his team to its first-ever CIF-Central CoastSection title. As a senior, he threw for over 1,700 yards and 18touchdowns. He led his high school to a cumulative 23-3 record.Noce was named all-conference, all-league and all-state. He alsoplayed basketball and volleyball.
Noce played one season at Cabrillo College, where he threw for1,724 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also rushed for 218 yards on 85carries, was named all-conference and made the Dean’sList.
At Arkansas State, Noce passed for 2,115 yards and 13 touchdownsas a junior, surpassing the 200-yard mark five times, and 2,052yards and 12 scores as a senior, including a 275-yard game againstLouisiana-Monroe. He started 23 straight games as a junior andsenior and led Arkansas State to its first-ever bowl game, the 2005New Orleans Bowl against SMU.
After graduating from Arkansas State, Noce signed a free-agentcontract with the Dallas Cowboys in 2006. He was employed in fireservice at Ben Lomond and was an assistant coach at San LorenzoValley High School before becoming assistant running backs coach atHenderson State in Arkadelphia, Ark., for the 2012 season, helpingthe Reddies to a 10-1 record, No. 2 NCAA Division II nationalranking and the school’s first-ever playoff game. The Reddiesaveraged 50.4 points per game.
