Lefi Letuligasenoa

A three-year starter at right guard, Letuligasenoa returns tohis alma mater as a student assistant on the coaching staff thisfall.
Letuligasenoa started 33 games in his four seasons as a Mustang.Last fall, he played on an offensive line which finished No. 2 inthe nation in sacks allowed (six in 12 games) and the Mustangoffense also was No. 1 in rushing offense, No. 22 in total offense,No. 20 in first downs and No. 26 in third-down conversions.
Letuligasenoa started 11 games as a junior and was part of anoffensive line which helped Cal Poly’s offense finish firstin the Football Championship Subdivision in passing efficiency,third in rushing offense, seventh in scoring offense, eighth infewest sacks allowed (10 in 12 games) and No. 13 in totaloffense.
He played in all 11 games with nine starts as a sophomore on theoffensive front. That Mustang offensive line which helped the teamfinish No. 6 in the nation in rushing offense, No. 27 in scoringoffense and No. 4 in total offense.
Letuligasenoa was one of four true freshmen to play on theMustang football team in 2010. He played in eight games at centerand guard with starts against McNeese State and Fresno State.
Letuligasenoa earned first-team All-Delta Valley League andsecond-team Sacramento Bee All-Metro honors as a senior offensiveguard at Elk Grove High School. He recorded 69 tackles (43 solo),including one sack, with season highs of 12 tackles against Rocklinand 11 against Valley (Sacramento) as a senior. Letuligasenoa alsocompeted in wrestling and track and field at Elk Grove and capturedthe CIF state heavyweight title in 2010. He twice claimed leaguechampionships in the discus and shotput.
A son of Maaka and Stacie Letuligasenoa, Lefi has two brothers,Josh and Noah. Josh will be a sophomore defensive lineman with theMustangs this fall. Lefi is an industrial technology major.
