Britt, who has been with the football program for four seasons,including a redshirt year in 2010, will serve as a studentassistant this fall.
Britt played in 10 games as a junior last fall, recording threetackles and a pass breakup. He missed his entire sophomoreseason due to a back injury and played in eight games as a redshirtfreshman, primarily as a backup cornerback, recording four totaltackles.
As a senior at Nipomo High School, Britt caught 53 passes and made71 tackles. He was named team MVP and earned first-team All-SanLuis Obispo County, All-Los Padres League and All-CIF-SouthernSection Northwest Conference honors. As a junior, Britt caught 27passes for 389 yards and four scores and also recorded 19 tackles,two interceptions and five pass breakups en route to first-teamall-league and second-team all-county honors. He also competed intrack and field and was league champion in the 200 and second inthe 400.
