Brennan Ronald, a 2012 graduate of Bellarmine Prep in San Jose,Calif., is a sophomore recreation, parks and tourism administrationmajor at Cal Poly with an emphasis on sports management.
In his first year with the Mustang football program,Ronald’s primary duties are video and assorted administrativechores.
Ronald was a senior running back, linebacker and safety onBellarmine Prep’s 2011 football team which posted a 12-2overall record, won the West Catholic Athletic League title with a7-0 mark and claimed the CIF-Central Coast Section Open Divisionchampionship before falling to Santa Margarita 42-37 in the stateDivision I title game at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.Ronald notched eight tackles in that game and recorded 9.5 sacks inthe 2011 season.
Ronald, who also competed in rugby and track and field atBellarmine Prep, has a cousin, Ryan Smith, who played football atChapman.
An Honor Roll and Dean’s List member at Bellarmine Prep,Ronald wants to coach football at the Division I level or be adirector of football operations. He enjoys skiing and video gamesas hobbies.
