High School -- Under head coach Jake Ford at Brentwood School, Woods was a tight end, wide receiver and defensive end ... during his senior season -- his only year of playing football -- caught 17 passes for 382 yards and seven touchdowns, including scoring receptions of 78 and 79 yards, and made 44 tackles (34 solo) on defense with 10 tackles for lost yardage, six sacks, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and two pass breakups ... Eagles were 7-4 and qualified for the CIF-Southern Section Division 11 playoffs ... Woods also played basketball as a freshman, sophomore and junior, averaging 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game ... scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a game versus Knight and made the all-tournament team at the Mira Costa Tournament ...
