High School -- A tight end and defensive end under head coach Pat Johnston at San Luis Obispo High school ... a 2020 graduate ... as a senior -- his only season playing football in high school -- caught 34 passes for 588 yards and 11 touchdowns ... on defense made 60 tackles (35 solo) with one sack, one pass deflection and two fumble recoveries ... earned first-team All-Pac 4 League honors ... Tigers were 10-2 in 2019, won the Pac 4 League title and reached the semifinals of the CIF-Central Section Division 3 playoffs ... selected to play in Kiwanis All-Star Classic ... also played basketball as a senior, averaging 14.3 points and 9.2 rebounds en route to a spot o the Mountain League's first team ... member of school's Honor Roll ... chose to attend Cal Poly because it was "a good opportunity to continue my education and sports career."
