High School -- A 2021 graduate of Clovis East High School ... under head coach Ryan Reynolds, Thao was perfect on his 10 PAT attempts as well as going 4-for-4 on field goals with a long of 49 yards, a school record, during pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season ... 12 of his 15 kickoffs resulted in touchbacks ... named to Fresno Bee's 2021 All-Area Team as a specialist and was second in fan balloting for Player of the Year ... Timberwolves were 2-3 in 2021 spring season ... in a 34-27 win in double overtime over Clovis West, Thao made aforementioned 49-yard field goal to send the game into the second extra period and also made a 39-yard field goal en route to Fresno Bee Player of the Week honors during the second week of the 2021 spring season ...
