2017 -- The only true freshman Mustang to play a down in 2017, Mortensen rushed for 206 yards on 39 carries, scoring touchdowns against Southern Utah (5-yard run on his first collegiate carry) and Sacramento State (1-yard run) ... played in all 11 games with starts in final four contests of season ... longest run was 44 yards against Portland State ... season-high 83 yards versus Portland State and added 52 yards against Weber State ... also caught seven passes for 127 yards and one score, an 18-yarder from Jake Jeffrey at UC Davis ... two catches each against Weber State, UC Davis and Portland State ... longest catch was 32 yards from Jake Jeffrey versus Weber State ... averaged 16.3 yards on six kickoff returns with a long of 22 yards ... three rushes in 2018 Spring Game.
