High School -- Mahr, a walk-on and younger brother of Mustang wide receiver David Mahr, was a running back and cornerback at St. John Bosco High School under head coach Kiki Mendoza ... as a senior rushed for 1,143 yards (8.2 yards per carry, school record) and 14 touchdowns and caught 16 passes for 168 yards and a score ... single-game high of 213 yards on just 12 carries and two TDs vs. Cabrillo and also produced four games of more than 100 yards ... on defense recorded 71 tackles (56 solo), including 17 against Servite, to go along with three interceptions (two against Lutheran) and one pass breakup ... named Co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Trinity League and named to Long Beach Press-Telegram’s Dream Team ...
