2020 -- Indoor Season: Twice in January and February, broke a program pole vault record which had stood for 20 years ... on Jan. 18 at Boise State’s Bronco Invitational, won with a height of 13 feet, 8.5 inches ... would then break the record again on Feb. 21, upping the mark to 13’ 9.25” at the Arkansas Qualifier ... with the new PR of 4.20m, finished the winter ranked No. 27 nationally, including No. 2 among all pole-vaulters from California schools. Outdoor T&F: Spring season was cancelled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward ... met the criteria to receive U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete recognition for a third year in a row, along with tallying Conference Commissioner’s Highest Honors as well as Big West All-Academic Team praise.
2019 -- Defended her conference pole vault title on May 10, becoming only the second woman in the 23-year history of the event to win Big West championships in consecutive years; title-winning jump came at 13’ 3” ... made her second straight trip to regionals, with a season-best clearance of 13 feet, 5.25 inches from the Blue-Green Rivalry Dual Meet at UC Santa Barbara on April 27 ... at the NCAA Prelim Round, tied for 22nd place on May 24, clearing 13 feet, 4.25 inches at Sacramento State ... earlier, in the regular season, also posted victories at the 37th annual Cal Poly #ShareSLO Invitational on March 23 (clearing 13’ 3.75”) and Gaucho Tri-Meet March 9 (via 13’ 1.75”) ... during the indoor season, also cleared 13’ 1.75” at the New Mexico Classic on Feb. 2, taking sixth place in Albuquerque while moving to No. 2 in school history on the indoor chart ... in addition, was a BWC All-Academic honoree, and earned back-to-back U.S. Scholar-Athlete accolades as a sophomore.
2018 -- Was only three-quarters of an inch back of breaking the school record for the pole vault as a true freshman, clearing 13’ 7.25” at the Cal Poly Invitational hosted March 24 ... her PR (just 0.75 inches away from the all-time record by Paula Serrano in 2000) ranked No. 4 in the nation among freshmen (No. 1 regionally); regardless of class, she was No. 41 in the country for the entirety of the spring ... went on to win the Big West Conference title in the event, clearing 13 feet & 1.5 inches at CSUN on May 11, prevailing in a jump-off vs. Matador senior Gardenia Centanaro ... collected Big West Athlete of the Week awards on both March 27 & March 6 ... altogether, tallied six first-place showings; also posted victories at the Cal Opener in Berkeley March 3 (at 12’ 7.5”), the UCSB Tri-Meet on March 10 (12’ 0”), Titan Challenge in Fullerton March 31 (13’ 1.5”) and the rivalry meet against UCSB April 28 (13’ 1.5”) ... was only one spot back of qualifying for the National Championship Finals in her first season, as she tied for 13th place at the West Prelim Round of the NCAA Championships in Sacramento on May 25, at 13’ 4.5” ... in addition, academically earned USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete honors.
Prep -- As a senior for Clovis North High School, took second place at the CIF State Championships for the pole vault while clearing a PR of 13 feet, 6 inches (seventh-highest nationally in 2017) ... also vaulted 13’ 5” to win the 2017 Central Section Masters title ... exceeded 13 feet on six occasions as a senior ... graduated as a three-time Tri-River Athletic Conference champion for the Broncos (also qualifying for the overall state finals as a sophomore and junior) ... in June 2017, earned fifth place at the USATF Junior (U-20) Championships held in Sacramento, with a height of 12’ 3.5” ... senior season featured 12 pole vault wins altogether ... also earned a PR in the triple jump (37’ 4”) which took third place at the section finals ... competed in gymnastics, as well ... was an AP honors student; also earned a 2017 B’nai B’rith Student-Athlete scholarship for combined athletic and academic achievement ... additionally, was selected by KMPH-TV as a Scholar-Athlete Finalist in 2017.
Personal -- Also served as vice chairman of Assisteens, a volunteer organization helping animal shelters & nursing homes ... was also a teacher’s assistant for Clovis Unified Summer Fun ... majors in Kinesiology ... is concentrating in the Exercise Science discipline, with aspirations to pursue a career in the medical devices industry.
