2021 -- In sixth and final meet of his third year at Cal Poly, placed sixth in high jump at Big West Conference Championships with a mark of 6-5 ... established new personal best of 6-8 1/4 for second place in Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet ... claimed first place in both the Wildflower Invitational (6-4 3/4) and Cal Poly Four-Way Meet (6-7) ... also was third in Spring Break Invitational (6-3 1/2) and fifth in Fresno State Invitational (6-3 1/4) ... earned Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2020 -- Season was canceled due to the pandemic, but retains NCAA year of eligibility moving forward ... meanwhile, made the Big West All-Academic Team in addition to earning Conference Commissioner’s Honors academically.
2019 -- Advanced to the Big West Championships for the high jump as a true freshman ... cleared a season-best height of 6 feet, 4.75 inches at the Blue-Green Rivalry Dual Meet at UC Santa Barbara on April 27, good for fourth place against the Gauchos ... at the Conference Finals hosted at Pauley Track, tallied 12th place in the HJ with a mark of 6’ 2.75” on May 11.
Prep -- As a senior at Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad, won the 2018 San Diego Section high jump title with a clearance of 6-foot-6, equaling his PR ... also jumped 6’ 6” at the 2017 Arnie Robinson Invite, picking up another win ... also had back-to-back heights of 6’ 5” for the Bobcats in 2018, taking third at the Escondido Invitational before winning the dual meet vs. SDA ... went on to take 14th overall at the CIF State Championship Meet as a senior ... in addition to earning two consecutive Avocado West League titles in the high jump, also claimed a league championship for the triple jump in 2017, finishing with a PR of 41’ 10.5” ... led squad to six dual-meet team wins during his final two years ... also played basketball as a shooting guard.
Personal -- Majors in Business, with a finance concentration; aspires to work for a company potentially as a financial advisor ... of choosing Cal Poly, explained: “The school is in a great location. I knew a lot of people going here. The track program is strong, and I felt that going here would be the most beneficial to me over any of my other options and would help me to reach my athletic best. Academically, Cal Poly is very strong and I wanted to go to a school that would challenge me and also help me to succeed for life after college.”
