2021 -- Placed sixth in shot put at Big West Conference Championships with a season-best time of 52 feet, 6.5 inches ... placed first in Spring Break Invitational at 51-9 and fourth in Bryan Clay Invitational at 52-1 3/4.
2020 -- Season was canceled due to COVID-19; however, retains the year of NCAA eligibility moving forward ... meanwhile, made the Big West Conference All-Academic Team.
2019 -- Came in fourth place in the shot put at the USATF U-20 Championships held in Miramar, Florida on June 23, reaching a mark of 59 feet & 2 inches on his fourth attempt, shattering his best with a 6-kilogram shot ... with his performance at Ansin Sports Complex (some 20 miles northwest of Miami), he became an alternate on the Team USA Junior roster for the Pan Am Games ... earned a victorious and personal-best mark of 55 feet even on April 27 at the UC Santa Barbara Blue-Green Rivalry Dual ... finished only one spot back of the medal stand in his debut at the Big West Finals, nearly posting a mark of 58 feet at the Conference Championship, reaching the distance before barely stepping out of the ring; came in fourth place in Goleta, with a mark of 54’ 0.5” ... also posted two additional wins during the regular season: claiming first place at both the Gaucho Tri-Meet on March 9 (via 51’ 10.5”) and the 37th annual Cal Poly #ShareSLO Invitational March 23 (at 51’ 10”).
Prep -- With Washington High School of Fremont, won the 2018 North Coast Section Bayshore Championship for the shot put with a career-best mark of 58 feet, 6 inches ... went on to earn fifth place at the overall CIF State Championship prelims as a Huskies senior, with a throw of 57’ 9” ... his final season included four additional shot put performances exceeding 57 feet: winning at the dual meet against Mission San Jose at 57’ 9”, claiming the Mission Valley Athletic League title via 57’ 0”, then following it up with the victory at the NCS Meet of Champions (57’ 1”) en route to an eighth-place finish in the state final (57’ 7.5”) ... his discus PR — 144’ 7” — tallied second at the NCS Finals in 2018 ... his trip to the state championships was his second in a row, as he took 13th in the shot put at the CIF finals as a junior, posting a mark of 52’ 6” in 2017.
Personal -- Majors in Business Administration ... also visited UC Irvine and Northern Arizona; chose Cal Poly because he “really loved the school, the team and the coach,” adding: “For me it was an easy decision” ... aspires to finance big projects in his career.
