
Wrestling Heads to Pac-12 Rival Little Rock for Final Dual

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly wrestling team travels to Pac-12 rival Little Rock on Sunday for its final dual of the season.

Sunday’s showdown with the Trojans will mark the first action for the Mustangs since dismantling Morgan State 37-15 in their final home dual on Feb. 1.
Cal Poly carries four nationally ranked wrestlers into the dual — No. 16 Ceasar Garza at 184 pounds, No. 19 Koda Holeman at 125, No. 33 Andre Gonzales at 149 and No. 33 Jagger French at 157.
Garza has impressed all season long, boasting a 15-2 overall record and defeating four nationally ranked opponents along the way. Garza, who transferred to Cal Poly over the offseason after spending the previous three years at Michigan State, is a perfect 7-0 in duals this season, earning three wins by technical fall.
Holeman leads the Mustangs in takedowns secured in duals with 27 on the year. The 2025 NCAA qualifier is 16-5 overall and 6-2 in duals.
Little Rock, the defending Pac-12 champions, are ranked No. 12 in the InterMat Team Tournament national rankings. The Trojans have six ranked wrestlers in their lineup — No. 3 Stephen Little at 197, No. 5 Matty Bianchi at 165, No. 18 Jaivon Jones at 157, No. 20 Brock Herman at 149, No. 31 Michael Gasper at 285 and No. 32 Brennan Van Hoecke at 141.
The Trojans are 4-10 in duals this season and 1-1 in Pac-12 action, falling 29-10 at Oregon State on Jan. 23 before taking down Cal State Bakersfield 33-17 at home last Sunday.
Cal Poly will send a handful of wrestlers to the California Last Chance Open in Tulare on Sunday, Feb. 22, before gearing up to host the 2026 Pac-12 Championships on Friday, March 6 at the Mott Athletics Center.
