
Cal Poly Men's Tennis Set to Open 2026 Spring Season Friday at Cal

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Cal Poly men's tennis opens the 2026 spring season on Friday with a road match against Cal at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley.
First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. The Mustangs will face the Golden Bears in an early nonconference matchup before Big West play begins.
The Mustangs enter the year following a developmental 2025 season that included a Big West Championship quarterfinal appearance and experience gained by a young lineup. Sean Kamyshev, Raz Haviv, Jack Cross, Sean Ferguson and Aaron Eliscu return as key contributors
Cal Poly showed promising play during the fall, making quarterfinal appearances in multiple tournaments and securing wins at the ITA Southwest Regionals against nationally competitive opponents in both singles and doubles play.
Following Friday's season opener, the Mustangs are set to host two duels at the Ronca Tennis Center, featuring matches against Saint Mary's and New Mexico Jan 31 and Feb. 2. Fans are encouraged to show their support and cheer on the Mustangs on their home turf.
