
Four Mustangs Earn Men’s Tennis All-Big West Honors

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Four Cal Poly men's tennis players earned All-Big West honors, the conference announced Thursday.
Sophomore Raz Haviv earned Second Team All-Big West honors in both singles and doubles. Freshman John Cross, sophomore Sean Kamyshev, and senior Bastiaan Weststrate all were named Second Team All-Big West in doubles. Weststrate was also named Honorable Mention All-Big West in singles.
Playing at the No. 1 spot in the lineup in both singles and doubles, Haviv was 3-11 in singles and 7-14 in doubles. This marks a second consecutive year Haviv has earned All-Conference honors after he received Honorable Mention in doubles last season.
Cross and Kamyshev were 6-2 together in doubles at the No. 2 spot, including 3-1 in Big West play. Kamyshev also earned Honorable Mention All-Big West honors last year.
Weststrate capped his Cal Poly career with a fourth straight year earning All-Big West honors. In singles, he went 8-12 while playing at the No. 2 spot. In doubles, he went 6-9 while playing at both the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the lineup.
Cal Poly is able to return all of their players next season except Weststrate.
