
Cal Poly STUNT Team Hosting First Ever Tournament Friday, Saturday in Mott Athletics Center

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly STUNT team is making history this week by hosting the program’s first ever home tournament this Friday and Saturday inside Mott Athletics Center.
The Mustang STUNT team, the 2023 national champions, are hosting five other teams Friday and Saturday as part of the Mustang Stampede The event features UC Davis, California Baptist, Concordia Irvine, Jessup University and Vanguard University.
It is two full days of exciting head-to-head games incorporating skills derived from cheerleading and is the newest NCAA sport emerging for women.
The event will have five matches each day between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Fans can purchase all day passes for $21 that allows access to watch all five matches per day. Those can be bought at GoPoly.com/tickets or by clicking the link below. The Cal Poly band will be in attendance and all proceeds from tickets purchased will go directly to supporting the Cal Poly STUNT program and Cal Poly band.
On Friday, the Mustangs will face off against California Baptist at 3 p.m. followed by a big matchup with UC Davis at 7 p.m. Then on Saturday, Cal Poly will go against Vanguard at 3 p.m. and Concordia at 7 p.m.
