Cal Poly Women’s Golf Heads to New Orleans Sunday for the Tulane Classic

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif - The Cal Poly women's golf team is preparing for the upcoming Sunday through Tuesday (March 10-12) competition at the Tulane Classic set to take place at the English Turn Golf & Country Club in New Orleans.

The Mustangs dominated their last tournament in Sacramento at the Causeway Invitational on Feb. 26-27th where they took 3rd place out of 12 teams.

Three Mustang players finished strongly in the individual standings.

Junior Kamille Dimayuga impressively tied for fourth place at three over par. Senior Nicole Neale placed tied for 11th at six over par, and Redshirt junior Jensen Jalufka was right behind her at seven over, which secured her place tied for 14th.

Overall, Cal Poly finished the tournament with a 24 over par 888. The Mustangs were the second-best team on par 5's and had the third most birdies amongst all teams.

Their next tournament will take place at Fresno State March 24-25th.
