FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Cal Poly's November swim slate came to a close on a high as the Mustangs notched another program mark while four total divers qualified for finals in their respective events.
Justin Dolezal scored a new personal best (265.20) in the men's platform dive preliminary round, which was good enough to reset his #2 mark (248.45) in program history that he set last season.
Lucas Lehrer also enjoyed a respectable dive (223.05) as both he and Dolezal qualified for finals but would be scratched for precautionary measures.
Ava Lazovsky (237.65) and Shayna Gayer (231.70) both scored well enough in the preliminary round to earn a spot in the finals where Lazovsky improved upon her score (238.60) and finished 17th with Gayer right behind her.
Abigail Leight (206.75), Myl Lauc (203.85), and KellyAnn Lim (197.00) put up decent scores in the prelims but did not advance to the final round.
That's a wrap on swimming and diving for now as the Mustangs will go back on another near-month long break until the middle of December for the UNLV Invitational.
