SECOND-ROUND RESULTS
LAHAINA, Hawai'i -- Nicole Neale carded a 69 and Kamille Dimayuga added a 71 as both Cal Poly golfers will enter Wednesday's final round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in the top 10 at the Ka'anapali Golf Course on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
Neale owns a four-under-par 140 total for 36 holes, tied for eighth place with four other golfers, while Dimayuga is tied for sixth place with Yingzhi Zhu of Pepperdine with five-under-par 139 aggregates.
The pair led Cal Poly to sixth place with 18 holes remaining to be played. The Mustangs carded a four-person 288 total on Monday and 286 on Tuesday for their two-under-par 574 total.
Denver and Pepperdine lead the way with 15-under-par 561 totals and UCLA is third, eight strokes back.
In addition to Neale and Dimayuga, Cal Poly's other scoring golfers were Vanessa Wang with a 72 for a 146 total and 32nd place, Elizabeth Scholtes with a 74 for a 150 total and 46th place and Carissa Wu with a 75, also with a 150 total for 46th place.
The course measures 6,013 yards and has a par of 72.
Zoe Campos (66-67--133) of UCLA has a one-stroke lead over Carla Bernat (69-65--134) of Tulane with Alyson Bean (67-68--135) of Denver one more stroke back.
Dimayuga is tied for second in par-3 scoring at two under par and is fourth in par-5 scoring at four under par. Her 10 birdies over 36 holes are No. 4 as well.
Neale's round of 69, matching her career high accomplished four times earlier in her career, included five birdies and a pair of bogeys. Her 140 total for 36 holes topped her previous career best by three strokes.
