
Berry Wins First Round Match at ITA All-American Championships

TULA, Okla. — Cal Poly men's tennis junior Noah Berry is moving on to the second round of the ITA Men's All-American Championships after winning his first round match Monday in Tulsa, Okla.
Berry, ranked 104th in the preseason ITA National Collegiate Singles Rankings, beat South Carolina's Connor Thomson in straight sets Monday, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the round of 64 in the single elimination tournament.
The tournament, hosted at the University of Tulsa, features the top 128 collegiate players in the country.
Berry will now face Kentucky's Taha Baadi Tuesday in the round of 64 on Tuesday.
